Some connections are just meant to be.

Ours happened in the wild world of higher education, somewhere between side-eyes, “this could’ve been an email” meetings, and navigating politics, policies, and the reality of doing meaningful work in systems that were not always built for us.

Two Black, fat, brilliant women who found each other and quickly realized we weren’t just colleagues, we were kindred spirits.

What locked us in? A shared love for learning, advocacy, and strategic impact, along with a desire to care deeply, show up big, and shake the damn table when necessary.

We are educated. We are talented. We are funny. And yes, we are opinionated.

So we built something of our own:

Rebel Ed Co. A community and consulting collective for those who refuse to play small, crave growth, and disrupt the status quo.

Through our work, including consulting, training, keynotes, and more, alongside our podcast, content, and community experiences, we explore education, culture, leadership, and life candidly and with a comedic edge.

We are bringing together people who are bold, brilliant, and just rebellious enough to want more.
